HOPE FAMILY WINE TASTINGAmerican Winery of the Year 2022
The Hope family has been farming in Paso Robles for more than 30 years. Join us as we taste these award winning, world class wines.
Treana Sauvignon Blanc 2022 Paso Robles. Aromas of tropical guava and hints of lemon grass. Bright zesty citrus flavors are abundant on the palate and highlighted by nuances of fresh pineapple and green apple. This light bodied white finishes with a splash of acid that is delightfully refreshing.
Treana Chardonnay 2021 Paso Robles. Aromatics of stone fruit and fresh honey that continue to the palate with bright flavors of Meyer lemon, fresh peach, toasted caramel and orange blossom. The finish has a lovely minerality and a touch of vanilla that perfectly rounds out the wine.
Quest Proprietary Red 2021 Paso Robles. This blend displays a beautiful herbaceous nose of anise seed, warm chocolate, and fresh mint. On the palette flavors of black fruit, dark chocolate, and slightly earthy nuance of leather are present. On the finish, soft fine tannins leave a light coat on the palette and mingle with a delicate touch of acidity that balance the wine allowing the flavors to linger. Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes.
Treana Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 Paso Robles. On the palate, flavors of beautiful rich blackberry, warm vanilla, toasted coffee and black cherry are finished with firm but refined tannins.
Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 Paso Robles. Enticing aromas of fresh black cherry, burnt sugar and a slight smokiness fill your glass. On the palate, flavors evolve with vanilla foam, ripe dark fruit, roasted coffee & nuances of spice. This full-bodied wine is rounded out with smooth supple tannins that are brightened with a touch of acidity to balance this crowd pleasing Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tasting fee is $35 a person for five 3 oz. pours

TEXTBOOK VINEYARDS WINE TASTING TEXTBOOK specializes in growing and crafting small lots of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay grown in the Oakville, Yountville and Los Carneros appellations.
Hand-picked, hand-sorted and carefully handled at every step, our “small lot” winemaking is evident from the minute you pull the cork. We don’t call our wines “Textbook” for nothing.
Sauvignon Blanc 2020 Napa Valley. Crafted from two superb grower partners in St. Helena and Oak Knoll sub[1]AVAs. Each separate lot contributes distinct fruit flavors and aromatics. Delicious aromatics include crisp Asian pear, honeysuckle, and accents of wild thyme leading to a mouthwatering laser beam of Meyer lemon and stone fruit. This wine finishes bright and balanced, with a decadent texture and generous mouthfeel.
Chardonnay 2022 Napa Valley. Aromas of Asian
pear, delicate honeysuckle, lemon preserves, and pineapple upside down cake. On the palate, fresh pineapple, and honeycrisp apple flavors mingle with tangy lemon curd. Tahitian vanilla, caramel and a light toastiness round out the finish.
Merlot 2020 Napa Valley. Crafted with eight unique lots from grower and producer partners in Oak Knoll and the iconic Oakville sub-AVAs of Napa Valley. The wine is velvet
on the palate, with rich aromas of fresh blackberry and bright cherry, complemented by concentrated briary berry compote and allspice flavors. Juicy with a solid chewy tannin structure.
Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 Paso Robles. The individual lots for this wine spent months aging separately in French Oak, before I hand-selected the final blend. The result is richness yet restraint – allowing this Cabernet to be paired with an array of cuisines or simply enjoyed on its own. On the nose, there are lovely aromas of Satsuma plum, red currant, anise, and a dusting of baking spices from the French oak aging. On the palate, I get the flavors of juicy black cherry, raspberry, and milk chocolate. The finish is smooth with well-integrated tannins. It’s opulent, richly textured, and beautifully balanced.
